Black and White Self Portraits

So I have been doing some experimenting with black and white 'digital' photography lately, and decided to do some self portraits.   Since I switched over to using digital over film, I have not really done a lot of B/W mostly because it never occurred to me to try it.   For color, sure, it seemed like a no brainer to go digital, but with B/W it was much more of a struggle, there is just something about Black and White Film that seems irreplaceable.

I use Adobe Photoshop CS6and a plug in called Silver Efex Pro 2.  These are some of the many photos I took, all of them are processed with SEfex.

I am still not sure I am sold yet on b/w digital, but I will keep working and experimenting.
